Built-in indicators

Open Indicators (I) and search by name, ticker or family (rsi, bill williams, ma). Each one's gear sets its periods, source and colour.

• On the price: simple, exponential, weighted, smoothed and Hull moving averages; Bollinger, Keltner and Donchian channels; Envelopes; VWAP; Pivot Points; Parabolic SAR; Supertrend; Ichimoku; the Alligator; Fractals; ZigZag; and the session and ICT tools (see Session and ICT tools).
• In their own pane: RSI, MACD, Stochastic, ATR, ADX, CCI, Standard Deviation, OBV, Volume, Awesome Oscillator, Williams %R, Momentum and the Money Flow Index.

They follow MT5's definitions, so the numbers match what you know. A few are worth knowing:

• Fractals appear two bars after the high or low, when those bars have closed, as on a live chart.
• ZigZag's newest leg follows the price until the next turn confirms it; every earlier point stays where it is.
• Momentum is MT5's form: the price as a percentage of the price n bars ago, so 100 is no change.
• Envelopes' deviation is a percentage of the average (0.1 is 0.1%).
• Awesome Oscillator, MACD's histogram and Volume are bars: the oscillator green when it rose from the bar before and red when it fell, MACD green above zero, volume by its own candle.
